Alpha 2019 starts on the 11th February
Following the conclusion of the 2018 Alpha course the feedback from the folks who came along was very positive, especially as to how their view of the Christian faith had changed.
Here are some of the comments made by them about the way they now see their Christian faith: “Much stronger; Developed by gaining a better understanding; I now need to find out what’s right for me; Deeper understanding; It has been strengthened and challenged; Tested by the questioning; Desire to explore more faith issues; Want to delve deeper.”
Everyone was supportive of a discussion life group which was arranged to follow up the course, and as the year progressed a number of meetings were arranged discussing topics like:
- How can I make the most of the rest of my life?
- Does God heal today?
- How can I resist evil in todays world?
- Whats the difference between a congregation and a Church family?
- How do I look deeper?
- What is worship?
